Our mentorship cohort is a group of 20-25 undergraduate students. Each student in the cohort is paired with with an upperclassman student who successfully navigated the
recruitment process just last year (meet us here).

Cohort Overview
The recruitment process for competitive finance internships is fast-paced and requires thorough preparation and a clear understanding of interview timelines. For those new to the field of finance, as well as those with some experience, this process can seem overwhelming.
We are a group of UNC-Chapel Hill students who have recently navigated this recruitment process and are eager to share our experience to help female underclassmen better understand and access the finance industry.​

Our mentors are primarily pursuing investment banking and sales & trading roles. Through our mentorship cohort, we plan to provide advice and resources pertaining to the following topics and more.

Choosing companies and roles that are tailored to your individual goals and strengths.

Understanding application deadlines and how to apply.

Preparing effectively for technical and behavioral interviews, HireVues, and Superdays.

Understanding and leveraging networking (specifically at UNC) to enhance your recruiting efforts.

Programming will take the form of weekly meetings and information sessions, social events, one-on-one meetings with your designated mentor, and a finance trek in NYC at the end of the semester.
